Guidelines for a safe, respectful and trustworthy matchmaking community
Last Updated: 1 October 2026
Muklawa is designed to help adults make meaningful matrimonial and matchmaking connections. These Community Rules apply to profiles, photographs, videos, messages, comments, recommendations, consultant-assisted interactions and other user-generated activity on Muklawa.
By using Muklawa, you agree to follow these Rules, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and other applicable policies. These rules are intended to protect users, maintain platform integrity and reduce fraud, abuse, harassment and other harmful activity.
Treat other members, consultants, staff and service providers respectfully.
Content that attacks, threatens or dehumanises people because of protected or personal characteristics is prohibited.
Cultural, religious or personal differences may be discussed respectfully. Targeted abuse, threats and discriminatory harassment are not permitted.
Users must provide information that is accurate and must not intentionally mislead other members.
Where Muklawa provides verification, the verification represents only the specific verification process that was completed. It is not a guarantee of every statement, characteristic, intention or future conduct of a user.
Photos and videos must comply with these Rules and must not be intentionally misleading.
Muklawa is a matrimonial and matchmaking service and is not a platform for sexual content.
Muklawa's matrimonial services are intended for adults. Users must satisfy the minimum age requirement applicable to the relevant service and jurisdiction.
Muklawa must not be used to defraud, deceive or financially exploit another person.
Never provide another user with your password, OTP, authentication code, recovery code, banking credentials or payment authentication information.
Muklawa staff will not ask you to disclose your password or authentication codes through an unsolicited message.
Do not publish or distribute another person's personal information without an appropriate lawful basis or permission.
You must not identify, expose, track, threaten or publicly shame another person by disclosing private information for harassment, intimidation, retaliation or another harmful purpose.
If another user clearly indicates that they do not want further communication, you must respect that request.
Muklawa must not be used for unsolicited mass communication or unrelated commercial promotion.
You must not impersonate another user, consultant, Muklawa employee, government official, professional, business, family member or organisation.
Consultants using Muklawa must:
Users and consultants must not deliberately mislead others by promising guaranteed marriage, guaranteed compatibility, guaranteed family acceptance, guaranteed immigration or visa outcomes, guaranteed financial benefits or guaranteed relationship outcomes.
Muklawa must not be used to facilitate or promote unlawful activity, including fraud, identity theft, threats, extortion, blackmail, exploitation, abuse, unauthorised access or distribution of unlawful material.
You must not threaten another person with publication of private information, photographs, conversations, contact with family or employers, financial demands, physical harm or retaliation in order to obtain money, information, compliance or another benefit.
Users must not deliberately create or maintain a false identity or false relationship for obtaining money, personal information, unauthorised access, manipulating another user, recruiting users for unrelated schemes or facilitating fraud.
Do not artificially manipulate profiles, matches, reviews, ratings, recommendations, engagement, notifications, search results or other platform metrics.
You must not scrape, harvest, copy, collect or systematically extract user information from Muklawa without authorisation.
Users remain responsible for the content they submit. You must have the necessary rights or permission to submit content and must not knowingly submit fraudulent, unlawful or infringing material.
Muklawa may review, restrict, remove or disable access to content where reasonably necessary to enforce these Rules, protect users, comply with law, respond to reports or maintain platform security.
If you believe that a profile, message, photograph, video or other activity violates these Rules, use the available reporting mechanism or contact Muklawa support.
Provide sufficient information to allow the matter to be investigated. Deliberately false or malicious reports may themselves violate these Rules.
Reports may concern fake profiles, fraud, harassment, threats, privacy violations, unwanted contact, inappropriate content, consultant conduct, payment-related abuse, security incidents or other violations.
Reports may be reviewed using information reasonably available to Muklawa and appropriate internal processes.
Where Muklawa determines that these Rules may have been violated, it may take proportionate action according to the circumstances.
Enforcement may consider the seriousness of the conduct, available evidence, previous violations, risk to users, applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
Where activity presents a serious risk to users or involves suspected serious unlawful conduct, Muklawa may take urgent protective measures where reasonably necessary and legally permitted.
If an account or content is restricted, suspended or removed, users may contact Muklawa through the available support or appeal process where provided. Where applicable law requires a particular complaints or appeal process, that process will apply.
For safety, security, fraud-prevention and enforcement purposes, Muklawa may retain or review relevant information where reasonably necessary and legally permitted.
This may include information associated with reports, profiles, messages, account activity, technical security events, transactions, uploaded content and abuse investigations.
Muklawa handles personal information according to its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Users should understand that information voluntarily shared with another user may be copied, saved, forwarded or otherwise used by that recipient outside Muklawa's control.
Once users move communication to another platform or service, that external service may operate under its own terms, privacy practices and security controls. Muklawa cannot control the conduct, security or privacy practices of independent third-party platforms.
Verification is an additional trust or identity signal where offered. It does not guarantee a user's intentions, financial position, character, future behaviour, suitability for marriage or any particular outcome.
Muklawa may use permitted profile information, preferences, location information and other signals to help users discover potentially relevant profiles.
A match, recommendation or profile suggestion is not an endorsement, guarantee or certification of the recommended person.
Users are responsible for taking reasonable precautions when meeting another person offline. Muklawa does not control the behaviour of users outside the platform.
Users should exercise appropriate personal safety measures and use their own judgment before arranging an in-person meeting.
Muklawa provides a platform for users to interact. Muklawa cannot guarantee that every user will tell the truth, behave respectfully, follow these Rules, remain on the platform or behave appropriately outside the platform.
Muklawa may take reasonable action when violations are reported or identified, but no online platform can guarantee that misconduct will never occur.
Muklawa may update these Community Rules when services, technology, platform features, safety risks, legal requirements or abuse patterns change.
These Community Rules should be read together with Muklawa's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Disclaimer, Account Deletion Policy and other applicable policies.
Nothing in these Community Rules is intended to remove, restrict or exclude any statutory right, consumer protection, privacy right or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
For safety concerns, policy violations or reports, use the reporting tools available on Muklawa or contact: info@muklawa.app
When reporting an issue, provide sufficient information to help us understand the concern. Do not send unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Muklawa may take action when these Community Rules are violated, subject to applicable law and the circumstances of each case.
